Day 8 - 42 Miles and A Date

I love riding trails... but it seems everywhere I go, I find this:

Put in 42 miles today, but I'm not going to lie and say it was easy... it was very hot today and I ended up taking several breaks... even at mile 38 I had to stop before the last few miles home.

 

Did I mention it was hot as shit outside?

Then, I get home and wait for the rain that NEVER comes... damn black hole of heat!

 

I'm in that "no rain" zone in the middle... really? DAMMIT

So, my date picks me up and we had great evening...we went to one of my favorite spots, Goodfriends for beers and burgers...

 
and the rest of this evening is private...
